Easily Manage Orders - Find orders that are ready to ship, orders awaiting payment, abandoned orders and more. Change the status of orders. Create your own status levels. Add manual payments. Enter notes for the order. Enter shipping information (shipping codes, urls, notes, etc). Search for orders by name, email, invoice. Print packing slip.
Unlimited Manufacturers - You can create a list of manufacturers and add a manufacturer to a product. Shoppers can search for products by manufacture via a drop-down list or a menu selection. Manufacturer names are included in search results.
Manage Your Products -
Unlimited categories and subcategories - You can add as many categories as you want. Each category can have unlimited subcategories which can have unlimited subcategories, etc. Unlimited depth.
Unlimited products - You can add unlimited products to the database. Our test site has over 10,000 products and runs just fine. Products can be flagged as inactive which will remove them from the category lists but keeps them in the database so you can activate them later. (NOTE: The Basic version of PHP Super Cart only allows you to add up to 50 products.)
Products can be in multiple categories - Each product can be added to unlimited categories.
Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs - On apache web servers that support mod_rewrite you can have the system generate search engine friendly urls for products and categories.
Unlimited Options - Create unlimited options. Assign an unlimited number of options to each product. Options can be flagged as "mandatory".
Unlimited Pictures - Each product can have an unlimited number of pictures associated with it.
Unlimited Text Iitems - You can create an unlimited number of generic text items and assign them to products. Examples might be warranty information, shipping details, licensing information, etc.
Unlimited Detail Pages - Each product can have an unlimited number of additional detail pages. Each page has it's own page title. Examples might be product details, specifications, warranty information, examples, etc.
Quantity Pricing - Each product can have a minimum quantity to order as well as quantity pricing. For example, a product might cost $5 for 1 item but only $4 each for 2 to 5 and $3 each for 6 or more. Products can have unlimited ranges of quantity pricing.
Track orders - Your customers can receive a tracking URL so they can view their order payment status and shipping status online.
Track Partial Shipping Of Orders - Your customers can receive a shipping email detailing which products have been shipped and which have not.
100% template driven (of course) - You can completely customize the main template and every detail template (categories, products, cart, billing,etc.).
Option Pricing - Each option item can have a separate price. For example a "Size" option might have option items of Small @ no extra charge, Medium @ $2.00 and Large at $5,00 extra. Additionally, if some options allow for multiple option items to be selected you can have separate prices based on the quantity of options. For example, if you had an option of "Pizza Toppings" you might allow customers to check off multiple option items (toppings). If they checked off just one (cheese) the option would cost $1.75 but if the checked off 3 toppings (cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms) the option price could be $1.75 for the first option item and $1.25 for each additional option item.
Separate Templates Per Category - Choose which category template to use when displaying a category. Add header and footer text to be displayed above and below the product listings. This allows for tremendous flexibility with little work.

Control Your Website With Blocks - Blocks are part of our Template System (TS). You can enhance the existing template or create your own template. Then, add special TS block comments and tags to control areas of your page. You can choose to display blocks based on the type of page (category, product, cart, etc), whether or not the shopper is a returning shopper or whether or not the shopping cart is empty.
Use blocks For Ads - By using blocks, you can easily add randomly rotating ads through the admin control panel.
Shopper Info Is Saved - When a shopper returns, they do not need to fill out the billing/shipping information as their information is saved. (Credit card info is never saved or redisplayed).
Breadcrumb Support for Deep Categories - Breadcrumbs are automatically built for each page so shoppers have an easy way to navigate back up through the top of the category list. The layout of the breadcrumbs are completely template driven.
Fully Customizable Menu Layout - Customize the site template to make the menu system look exactly the way you want. The Template System (TS) allows you to customize the look of the parent menu, current menu, sibling menus and child menus.
Newsletter Support - Clients can sign up for your newsletter when the check out. You can send out a newsletter from the admin control panel. You can export the newsletter membership list. Customers can opt out of the newsletter using a link you provide.
Weighted Search (customizable) - Customers are more likely to find what they are searching for with a weighted search system. Words that appear in the product title can be weighted heavier than words in the description of the product. This helps more relevant products to "bubble" to the top of the search listing. You can set the weights from the admin control panel.
